About
A small kitchen that chose to stay small
Pudingku started from something simple: good pudding usually loses because too much of it is made at once. We went the other way.
Why small batches
Pudding is honest. Let the milk-to-agar ratio slip even slightly and you taste it immediately — either too firm, or weeping after a night in the fridge. That ratio is easiest to hold when the quantity being cooked stays modest.
So we cap the size of every batch and produce against the orders that come in rather than stacking up stock. The trade-off is plain: we need preparation time, and there are days when a variant simply is not available. We think that is a reasonable exchange.
The recipes are our own and still being adjusted. If a variant is not right yet, we do not sell it.
Three things we hold to
Say it as it is
Ingredients, allergens and how long a product keeps are written out on every product page. When something is not certain yet, we say it is not certain yet.
Taste first, looks after
We do not add colouring to make anything look brighter. Our pandan is a soft green and our taro is a pale purple because that is what those ingredients actually look like.
Fix it when it goes wrong
A wrong or damaged delivery gets replaced without an argument. The conditions are on the refund policy page.
What we do not have yet
We choose not to display claims we have no paperwork for. As of the last update to this page, we do not publish a halal certification number or a food distribution permit number on this website. If you need legal documentation for a bulk or corporate order, contact us first so we can explain exactly where things stand.
